Hoping to find descendants of Milton and Laura Permelia Kightlinger (Kitlinger), Perthernia and William L. Smith, Philip and Hetty Smith, Philip and Mary Jane Smiths, and Lewis and Laura (Lara) Stearns (Sterns). Laura and Milton are buried in Diamond Cemetery in Plum Twp. Many Smiths are over in Old Baptist Cemetery in Chapmanville in Plum Twp. Venango Co. PA. I was able to get a Cemetery book for Plum Twp. from the Venango County Historical society. I have lost the E-mail of the person who helped me get this book. Hoping she is on this list. I need to know if I can purchase a Cemetery book for Cherrytree Twp. I am esp. interested in Jamison Church. I hope that is the correct spelling, the writing is not clear. Also searching for a copy of the Old Book of Amos Smith, Troy Twp. I am also asking Crawford Co. PA. this too. I do not appear to have a title for this book, but it is a collection of transactions and everyday living for people in that area. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Hiram is listed as serving in the 10th. Reg. Company C Penna. Vols. He does have a biography in the 1879 Venango County History, stating he was born in Genessee Co. NY from where his parents had left in 1849 to move to Venango County. He served 3 years in the Civil War and married in 1865 to Hattie Smith, daughter of Capt. John Smith & wife Nancy Gordon SMith. My SEYFRIED family came (as far as I know)from Beinheim, Alsace, France/Ger.. I have copies of marriage, birth and some death records from about 1790- 1890 in Alsace. My ggrandmother left Alsace with the last of her children about 1892 and settled in Buffalo, NY where some of her older children had come to. Most all decendents of her are still in the Buffalo area.
