    3. Posted on: Venango Co. Pa Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Pa/Venango/2443 Surname: Daughenbaugh ------------------------- Am so glad to hear from you on this surname in Venango County. I do not have much info just written notes by my great grandmother and a few references from obituaries. My great great grandmother was Margaret Elizabeth Daughenbaugh..she first married a Fowler and then Bernard Tenbus. She was born Nov 5,1847 in Scrubgrass Twp and died in Oil City in 1915. She is buried at Grove Hill Cemetery. Her parents were supposedly a John Daughenbaugh and Rebecca Jane Pierce....Rebecca Pierce was born in 1821 in Tarentum, Alleghney Co, Pa. She was married two more times and had a total of 3 children that I know of. I know that Rebecca Jane Pierce is also buried in the same lot of Grove Hill with her daughter, Margaret. I do not know anything of Margaret's father except the name John Daughenbaugh which my great grandmother had written down. He would have been her grandfather, so it is feasible that she knew his name was John but I have no proof of that yet. ANY clues you might have would be gratefully accepted.
