Jesse's parents were Peter and Lydia Yarnell, who came to Canal Twp.,Venango Co. in the early 1850's from Northumberland Co, PA. Liza's parents were George & Liza Dinbaugh Miller from Schuylkill Co., PA. I would like verification of Albert's actual birthdate if anyone has it. The reason being: Liza had an affair with Jesse's older brother, Joseph, who also happened to be her elder sister, Sarah's husband. Joseph died in 1860, 11 months after his son, Levi was born. Sarah did sign off her widow's rights after his death, documentation for this is at the Venango Co. Courthouse. She later married William Cotterman. (Family story is possibly a divorce, I can't find any documentation of this.) Liza, I am not certain, was married to Jesse at the time, or still single. I do not have their marriage date. After Jesse died in 1862 she married Henry Yarger. I do not know if they had any children. Joseph and Jesse are buried at the Hannaville Free Will Baptist. Sarah, William, Liza, and Henry are all buried at Peters Cem. Albert Leroy Yarnell d. 10/4/1946 Bur. Cochranton Cem. m.9/7/1887 Nettie Karns b. 2/17/1869 d. 12/6/1938 Bur. Emil Kidnor; Barbara Jean m. Clarence R. Watkins; and Lois m. Richard Donley of Los Angeles. Albert (Bert) Leroy b. 1895 d. 1957 m. Pa Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Pa/Venango/2625 Surname: MORGAN ------------------------- Do you know if Gilbert had a middle name? Initial N??? I have a letter from the Civil War signed G N Morgan to Rebecca Jane Reid Forker. The father, George Morgan, had land vauled at 4,000 in 1850---this was a lot of money for that time. Have you ever found the other siblings in the area? Would a local paper have his death records (GEORGE) from Tionesta indicating who is the father of George? The reason my search for THOMAS MORGAN of Richland is so important is that if I find the father to Thomas---his overall family is known---it may take the name back into Wales into many many generations. The wife of Thomas was Rebecca Jenkins and this family too is documented before 1700. If the only son of Thomas was a George he could be named after the father of TM or brother to Rebecca. See if you can dig up anything else on George. I thank you for helping.
