Burns son of John and Rosanna Boyle Burns and husband of Mary A. Coulter? Michael died July 29, 1929 and is buried in St. Catherine Cemetery, Cranberry Twp., Pa. His last name was also spelled Bymes. Mary Coulter was born about 1855 in Pa and died 1928 in Pa. They had 3 daughters and 2 sons, Frank and William A. Burns. Alice M. Mong, 79, of 4930 Georgetown Road, Franklin, died peacefully with her family at her side at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 5, 2007, in the Caring Place in Franklin. Born April 27, 1927, in Franklin, she was the daughter of David and Zella Gulnac Beers. She attended the Franklin schools. Mrs. Mong worked at National Market in Franklin during World War II and later worked at Polk Center as an RSA, then as manager of the camera department at Weston?s Department Store. She then worked at Polk again, and she retired from there in 1986. Mrs. Mong was a kind and loving wife and mother and took great pride in her family and home. She had often babysat her grandchildren, who were her pride and joy. She also enjoyed reading, yard sales, crocheting afghans for all of her family members, cooking, baking, canning from the family garden and collecting decorative straw hats. Mrs. Mong is survived by her husband of 62 years, Billy R. Mong, whom she married as a war bride on April 19, 1944. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Terry W. I am sure it has not changed much since she left in 1870s or 1880s. It was beautiful. She left alot. My cemetery plot is next to hers and I sure would like to know more. PLATT - Re the PLATT messages that have been listed. One of my ancestors is George Singery MYERS, whose wife is Elizabeth PLATT. Is this the Elizabeth that beersjul is speaking of?
