I'm searching for the ancestry of Benjamin Franklin SMITH. He was born ca 1859, supposedly in Turbotville, Northumberland Co. PA. He married Emma Caroline WINEGARDNER by 1881 and settled in Union Co. PA (around Lewisburg). They had the following children: Mary Elizabeth b. ca 1881 Rachel Jane b. 1884 m. Jacob BRIDGES & Henry PENNYCOFF Ruth Anna b. 1887 m. Samuel McCULLUM Margaret Ellen b. 1889 William Henry b. 1890-1894 was in WWI, lived in Pittsburgh PA in 1919 Katie May b. 1895 Hilda Marie b. 1897 m. Paul C. SNYDER & George W. RENNER I descend from Hilda Marie (who always went by the name Marie). She and her husbands moved around but seemed to have lived mostly in the Bloomsburgh, Columbia Co.
