Hi list members: Well, this is a query/relisting asking for a big favor: Query: I am looking for the UNION TOWNSHIP, Berks Co., PA church record that says what European town my Peter Flickinger was born in. (Lutheran or Reformed Church) (Maybe Amityville or Birdsboro?) Background: Peter FLICKINGER was born in 1730 in Europe. He left Rotterdam and arrived aboard the ship Edinburg, September 14, 1753, to Philadelphia, PA. Peter married Mary (Magadalena) DERR (Do"rr) in Pottstown, PA in 1755.(Pottstown, Berks Co >Montgomery Co). Her parents were: Jacob & Maria Regina Do"rr. Peter died in East Buffalo Twp, Northumberland>Union Co., PA. Many of the folks on his ship came from northern Alsace, Zweibru"cken and Homburg areas of Germany.
