I have been presented with some birth information (not orignal documentation) that states the birth place of the person I am researching as follows: Born 23 May 1802, Limestone Township, Union Co. My investigation leads me to believe that the person who supplied this information, although with the best of intentions, has described the plce of birth as it NOW exists. Am I correct in saying that in 1802 the correct township would be Buffalo Township, as I believe that Limestone was formed from part of Buffalo at a much later date? I am already sure the County should have been stated as Northumberland, since Union was formed from Northumberland in 1813. Also, am I correct in saying that New Berlin is located in Limestone Township? Thank you for your assistance. Jim
