Is anyone researching CARTERs or have any information on them? Elizabeth's death was reported in a one-line obit in the "Union Weekly Whig". She died in Milton in Dec. 1851 at age 64. Would like to find her grave. Her husband, Christian, died earlier, possibly 1829 and possibly someplace else. George Shoemaker also died in Milton in 1851. He may have been her brother. Four of her sons were named Daniel (buried in Elimsport Cemetery), Christian (same), Willam and Edward. Edward married Ann Eliza Miller at White Deer Church, also in 1851. They lived in Jersey Shore after their marriage. I'd love to have more info on these people. BabaraB
