Hi, I've been on several of these Rootsweb Lists for a while, yet cannot recall having seen mention of the popular "Irish book", that being "Pennsylvania - German Marriages" by Donna Irish. Here are some STUTZMAN listings from her book: Adam STUTZMAN - Barbara SCHMIDT married 2/28/1809 in Trinity Tulpehocken Reformed Church, Jackson twp., Lebanon Co. (my note: This was the son of Christian STUTZMAN and wife Elisabeth, christened at Himmel's (Schwaben Creek) Church, Northumberland Co. 1787. Adam HEDERICK and wife were sponsors. Adan STUTZMAN moved to Perry Co. in 1812 and was a lifelong farmer there.) Susannah STUTZMAN - Abraham SCHWARTZ married 6/16/1803 in Tabor 1st Reformed Church, Lebanon Co. by Rev. Wm. HEISTER with Christian STUTZMAN as witness. (my note: This is the same Abraham SCHWARTZ for whom Christian STUTZMAN was a sponsor at Abraham's baptism in Klinger's Church, Dauphin Co.) Daniel STUTZMAN - Elizabeth SCHARCK married 9/25/1836 in Trinity Tulpehocken Church. (my note: This is the son of Godfrey and Christina STUTZMAN, born 1815 at ? and christened by John C. STOEVER, Jr. He and Elizabeth lived years later in Milton, Northumberland Co., PA where the family were boatmen. Trinity Tulpehocken records also show their daughter, Rebecca, b. 12/4/1840 with Sarah STUTZMAN as sponsor at baptism and their son, Adam Daniel, born 3/26/1843 with sponsors Peter ECKERT and Salome. Catherine Eckert married Christian STUTZMAN, Jr.) Elizabeth STUTZMAN - John HAACK married 2/1/1801 at Trinity Tulpehocken. Fiana STUTZMAN - Jonathan ARTZ married 10/28/1848 at Trinity Tulpehocken. Harriet STUTZMAN - Samuel WIMMER married 3/3/1861 at Trinity Tulpehocken. Jonathan STUTZMAN - Lydia STRICKLER married at Trinity Tulpehocken. (My note: This is a correction!!! of the "Irish" book. By the church records of UCC Lancaster Archives microfilm reel!!! The Irish book lists Jonathan as marrying Magdalena GLANTZ 10/7/1827 which is combining parts of two lines in the church record.) Lydia STUTZMAN - Jonathan WAITER married 11/11/1832 in Tabor 1st Reformed in Lebanon Co. (My note: This is probably daughter of Godfrey and Christina STUTZMAN, born in York Co. 1812). Peter STUTZMAN - Elizabeth ARTZ married 6/1/1807 in Trinity Tulpehocken. (My note: This is the son of Christian, Jr. and father of William A. STUTZMAN of Schuylkill Co.).
