Hi there, listers. I'm "hot on the trail" of my ancestor and wonder if some wonderful volunteer out there could help me? Does anyone have acess to census/birth/death/marriage records for these two places? Or a history book for around the 1860s-1870s? The info I have is: Charles F. Diffenderfer of New Columbia, PA, married Matilda Moore Gray of Mansfield at St. James Church, Mansfield, Sept. 25, 1873. I believe Charles (aka "Clifford" or "C.F.") was a school teacher. In 1875, he was principal of Berwick Academy, Columbia County. Believe he was born in Union County, PA, abt. 1839-1843.
