I am a searcher for families who were in many Pennsylvania Counties and subscribe to several lists. On all of these lists, except Union, the message source is displayed with the list identifier before the subject line. This is a big help in scanning and deleting messages with little or no interest. Union postings do no display the list prefix and show only the subject, and because of the different pattern suggest that it a message directed only to me, not via a list. I understand that you choose this format because those replying will not share the message with other list recipients. That has the advantage of limiting readership but the disadvantage of not sharing information that might be of interest to other readers, not just the message originator. Will you consider adopting the format of the other lists to give all of us a more precise clue as to the origin of the messages? Dick Creps
