Bev //////////////////////////////// THE PENNSYLVANIA LINE, Fourth Edition, (1990), p. 287 states Buffalo Twp., now in Union Co., Pennsylvania, was formed in 1772 while part of Northumberland Co. In 1822 I believe you need search only in Union Co. and ignore the fact that fifty years earlier that area west of the Susquehanna River was within Northumberland Co. The county seat for Union Co. is listed in the same manual as Lewisburg 17837, Tel 717-524-8761. Pennsylvania has re-aligned some of the telephone area codes, and I do not know if Lewisburg has been affected. Nelson
