Hello, listers. I'm new at this, but heard there was a roll call (not sure what to do with that) and wanted to let anyone know I'm researching my great grandfather, CLIFFORD F. DIFFENDERFER, b. abt. 1839-1843 in Union Co., PA. He does not show up (as yet) in the big Peter Dubendorfer genealogy on line. Here's what I know: Clifford F. (or C.F.) Diffenderfer b abt. 1839-1843, Union Co., PA Married Matilda M. Gray, abt. 1873-1875, Mansfield, PA (Tioga Co) Children: Maud, b. 1875, PA (unknown place) Herbert, b. abt. 1879, NE (probably Albion) William Charles Diffenderfer, b. 1883, Albion, NE Clifford Jr. b. abt. 1889-90, Albion, NE In the 1880 NE census, Clifford is listed as 37, b. PA, cabinetmaker. A NE history says he was a cabinetmaker & undertaker, moved from Union Co to Albion in 1878-1879. Any clues would be greatly appreciated. Can anyone do1860 or 1870 census lookups for Clifford as a child? Search of 1850 census, Tioga Co. comes up nothing, so far. Don't know why the marriage in Mansfield.
