I have a John Hartley, born about 1842 in Centre, PA. I know this isn't much to go on, but I'm hoping this meant Centre Twp. He married Sarah Sabina Cupples of Mifflin County and promptly died in Andersonville Prison during the Civil War leaving three little ones. Does anyone lay claim to any Hartley's in this county? Any help at all would help, if only to cross Union County from my list of possibles. Thanks. Linda
