    3. Just wanted to clear something up. A Roll Call on a genealogy list is when everyone who is on the list is asked to submit who they are and who they are researching so we can combine our efforts with others. Now, in response to your Diffenderfer/Deiffenderfer/Deiffendeifer, etc., There are a handful of Dieffenderfers in St. Peter's Reformed Church Cemetery, and St John's Lutheran Church cemetery, directly across the street. These two churches are on White Deer Churches Road, west of West Milton, Union County, PA. My gg-grandmother was Louisa Dieffenderfer. Here is what I know of her: 55. ADAM6 ROYER (JOEL5, JOEL4, CHRISTOPHER3, EMIG2, SEBASTIAN1) was born April 10, 1854, and died April 17, 1913. He married LOUISA DEIFFENDERFER March 28, 1875. She is buried in St. Peter's Cemetery. There may be a connection between our Deiffenderfers. Keep in touch. >Danielle McCormick, Program Director >Nonprofit Assistance Center >SEDA Council of Governments >RR 1 Box 372 >Lewisburg, PA 17837 > >570-522-7216 phone >570-524-9190 fax > >email:dmccormi@seda-cog.org -----Original Message----- From: LWA101@aol.com [SMTP:LWA101@aol.com] Sent: Tuesday, January 25, 2000 4:24 PM To: PAUNION-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: CLIFFORD DIFFENDERFER B. ABT. 1839-1843, UNION CO Hello, listers. I'm new at this, but heard there was a roll call (not sure what to do with that) and wanted to let anyone know I'm researching my great grandfather, CLIFFORD F. DIFFENDERFER, b. abt. 1839-1843 in Union Co., PA. He does not show up (as yet) in the big Peter Dubendorfer genealogy on line. Here's what I know: Clifford F. (or C.F.) Diffenderfer b abt. 1839-1843, Union Co., PA Married Matilda M. Gray, abt. 1873-1875, Mansfield, PA (Tioga Co) Children: Maud, b. 1875, PA (unknown place) Herbert, b. abt. 1879, NE (probably Albion) William Charles Diffenderfer, b. 1883, Albion, NE Clifford Jr. b. abt. 1889-90, Albion, NE In the 1880 NE census, Clifford is listed as 37, b. PA, cabinetmaker. A NE history says he was a cabinetmaker & undertaker, moved from Union Co to Albion in 1878-1879. Any clues would be greatly appreciated. Can anyone do1860 or 1870 census lookups for Clifford as a child? Search of 1850 census, Tioga Co. comes up nothing, so far. Don't know why the marriage in Mansfield. Best wishes to alll and thank you in advance. Laura Alderson, Raleigh, NC LWA101@aol.com
