    2. Jack & Jo Kester
    3. I am searching for any info on George/John George KEISTER/KOESTER/KUESTER. He was the Elvis of his day. There were sightings of him in all the above named counties. I see him listed as John George KOESTER marrying Anna Margaret KREYTER June 8, 1755 First Reformed Church Lancaster Co. At the baptisms of their children their names were written as John George KUESTER and Anna Margaret KEYSER. In 1777-1780 he was listed as living in Heidleberg Twp, Berks Co. He may have served in RW. In 1780/1 he went to Union Co.. Received a land grant in Northumberland Co 14 June 1786. His will made 6 May 1790, executors: wife and sons Jon & Henry. He died in 1795 in either Hartley or Lewis Twp , Northumberland or Union Co. (I get so confused by name of county now and parent co name). His will was probated 11 Dec 1795, witnesses: Josua Spencer & Peter Kester. Northumberland (Buffalo Twp) PA (says now known as Union Co) Will Book 1-156 George Keister 1795 Children: Peter, Elizabeth, Christiana, John, Henry, George Peter & George went to Montgomery Co, OH. Elizabeth m Frederick Bashore of PA and they moved to Perry Co, OH. Anyone researching these names in these places? Looking forward to hearing from you. Jo kester@saber.udayton.edu

    1. Renninger, Johann Peter and Catherine
    2. Catherine (nee unknown) and Johann Renninger were my GGG grandparents. They married circa 1786 in Montgomery County, moved to Northumberland County circa 1804, and finally to Union County circa 1813 where they died and are buried exact location unknown. Apparently Catherine died first circa 1835 then Johann circa 1840. Both were born in Philadelphia County in 1766 (the part that became Montgomery County). Some records show "Johann" as Johann, Johann Peter, and just Peter. Looking for someone researching these people. I have a lot of information to share. Don Renninger nanren@AOL.com

    3. Hello List members, Could anyone tell me where to find a map showing Penns creek or if it is still named that. In 1794 my 4th g, grandfather George Mitchel and his wife Elizabeth purchased land beginning at a post at the side of Penns creek. He bought the land from a Jacob Miller and the land bordered the land of John Miller. It was the same tract of land that Frederick Miller and his wife Eva Maria purchased in 1779. The land was bordered on the other side by land of Paul Hnepper. I live in Michigan and would sure appreciate it if anyone could even tell me where the land or Penns creek is located from New Berlin. Thanks for any help, Ron Rmhahn@avci.net

    2. Bill Hurst
    3. I am searching for information on the MOORE family of Union County, PA. They settled near Milton about 1772. I believe that they were James Moore and, his wife, Mary Woods. The children that I know of are Sarah Moore, married William Miller, and James Wilson Moore, born 1797. James Moore died abt. 1812 and Mary not long after that. James Wilson lived with his sister Sarah and her husband. Sarah and William Miller had a daughter named Eleanor, who married a Seth McCormick, and had a son, Henry O. McCormick, who I believe was an Attorney Gen. of PA. Any help on this line would be greatly appreciated. Bill Hurst McKinney, TX

    2. Has anyone researching the Miller family come across an Elizabeth Stiver living with them. Grandpa Jonathon Stiver gave Elizabeth to a Miller family to raise in 1850 after his wife died giving birth to her. The family lived in Union Co, Hartley Twp.
