    1. Zimmerman - Kelly; m. 1815
    2. Paul Andree
    3. Hi All, I just found this mail list, which I have been waiting to see for a long time. My gg grandfather was David Zimmerman, 1787 m. 3-15-1815 to Mary Kelly, 1796 at the house of Henry Kelly in Hartleton, Union Co, PA. I have 2000 descendents of Zimmerman, but do not know who his parents were. I also know nothing of Mary Kelly's family, except that Henry may be a brother or father. I have found info of several Zimmerman's buried in the Keister Cemetery, Laurelton, PA. Could someone send me the phone # of this cemetery, please? Or any history? I just found on the Ubion site that Kiester (Kester) was associated with a Dunkard Church. Any info on the church would be greatly appreciated. I am looking for any connections to these people, or any advice in making a connection. -- Thanks, Paul Andree - Earn $$ while surfing the Net Info at: http://www.alladvantage.com/go.asp?refid=AZH043 Mt Dora, Lake Co, Florida Minister and Dean of the School of Ministry at: Solid Rock Christian Fellowship & World Dominion Ministries http://www.solidrockchristfellow.org Web site at: http://www.netmender.net Y2K Info. ---- 325+ Christian Links Genealogy ---- Andree, Beall, Crevier, Dabney, Davenport, Friedt, Foster, Kelly, ---- Nelson, Munn, Rowe, Sell, Wagner-Wagoner-Waggoner, Wall, Zimmerman Bread of Life Services, Inc ---- Surplus Food Program Genetically Engineered Foods ---- You must read, it's extremely dangerous ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Philippians 4: 6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

    1. SMITH - WINEGARDNER, Union Co. PA 1800s
    2. I am descended from Benjamin Franklin SMITH, born ca 1859 (supposedly in Turbotville PA) and Emma Caroline WINEGARDNER. They lived in East Buffalo Township, Union Co. PA for most of their married lives, but they may have been married in the Turbotville area. Their children were: Mary Elizabeth b ca 1881 Rachel Jane "Jenny" b 1884, m. Jacob BRIDGE Ruth Anna b 1887, m. Samuel McCULLUM Margaret Ellen b 1889 William Henry b. 1890-1894 Katie May "May" b. 1895 Hilda Marie b. 1897 m/1 Paul Clifford SNYDER m/2 George W. RENNER Benjamin was my great-grandfather. He was a bad seed -- jailed in 1898, then sent to Danville State Hospital (for criminal insane, I believe) in 1902 and died there. The children (my grandmother was barely 1 yr. old at the time) were either fostered out or went to live with relatives. Of course, no one wanted to talk about him, so I grew up thinking he had either died early or abandoned the family. It was an accident that a "cousin" found the court records showing his trial and subsequent imprisonment. Emma WINEGARDNER was the daughter of Rev. Benjamin Franklin WINEGARDNER. She was born in September 1860, possibly in Lewisburg PA. She moved around a lot after her husband was jailed, staying mostly in Union Co. PA. I don't think she ever re-married. She was living in 1929, but I don't have any idea when she died. I'd appreciate any help you can offer on these folks, and I'd love to meet new "cousins." Vickie Elam White

    1. MOYER, Newton A. (27JUL1882-13JUN1903) PA
    2. Harold E. Bower, Jr.
    3. Seeking information about my great-grandfather, Newton A. MOYER. Newton lived and worked on the MOSTELLER farm at Quaker Hill in Eldred Twp, Lycoming Co, PA, at the time he married my great-grandmother (1903), Elizabeth Pearl BLAKER (14AUG1880-22MAY1953). Newton died suddenly at the age of 20 while Elizabeth was pregnant with their first child (my grandmother). He was not around very long, so little is known of him. According to my grandmother's childhood recollections, she heard that her father was from "down the line." That usually means Muncy, Milton, Lewisburg, etc. All stories relate that Newton and Elizabeth were married at Warrensville, Elderd Twp, Lycoming Co, PA, early in 1903 and my grandmother was born in November 1903. I thought for sure that a marriage license would give me a clue as to Newton's pedigree, but I cannot find one. I've checked Lycoming and surrounding counties. I understand that at this time a marriage license was required by all these counties. Also, Newton would have been under 21 when the marriage took place, so he probably needed the signature of a parent or guardian. When Elizabeth married her second husband, she indicated on her license that she was married in 1903 and indicates she is a widow. I am at a loss as to where to go to try to track down Newton's family, or even find a marriage license. Have others come across the lack of a documented marriage license after the time when they were legally required? Any suggestions about how to proceed would be most welcome.
