Hi My name is Karl Patterson and I have been looking for my great grandfather Sidney Pitch Patterson born March 1854, he was married to a Malona Jeaneatte Root born July 1857. The 1880 census and the 1900 censu has them married 22 yrs and says nothing of another marriage, but there was. Malona married a Pratt and had 6 children, one Myron died of smallpox and was buried in Rootville Cemetery. My grandfather was the later to be born along with his sister Adda Jane who married an Elton Brown and they had 10 children, five boys all names beginning with an O and 5 sisters, only two sisters, Cecil Brown and Rena Brown of Erie, PA are still living but don't remember much.
