MY BRICK WALL is my great grandfather, MARTIN DERIOUS PATTERSON : b:AUG 5, 1847 Benton Co. , Chocochatta Settlement 1850 Census Info; 35/38 Patterson, Mahalia 26 GA (we're not sure who Mahalia is, ie;Aunt, mother, other relative) Anozy (Anzy ) 8 FL (sister) Martin 3 FL Cousin Grace Patterson sent following info; a George Meyer or Myers who was a Blacksmith was living with Mahala Patterson. He was old enough to have been Mahala's father but he was born in Maryland. My questions: Who were Martin's parents? How was he related to Mahala? was she married to a Patterson? or a Patterson herself? Did Martin's father come with them to FL? what happened to him? which Patterson line father was his? Where was Martin (and family) between 1850 census and 1862 when he enlisted in Conf army? where was he between discharge for his youth 6/12/62 at Camp Finegan and when he settled in Keystone Park,Hillsborough around 1866? Any clues welcome!!
