Here is our brick wall: William Moore Patterson Sr. b. 6/8/1829 in Ark (per other family members) and census records...in Trinity Co., TX by 1855 when son Joseph Warren Patterson was born. Joseph Warren Patterson m. Elvira Ramey in Trinity Co., TX and moved to Tarrant Co., TX (Fort Worth area) by 1890's. Their son Warren Moore Patterson is my husbands grandfather. I am looking for the parents and wife of William Moore Patterson Sr. The 1860 census shows wifes name to be Joe?...very hard to read...could be short for ?Jolene?...no idea when or where they married. They had another son William Moore Patterson Jr. in 1869 who moved with his brother Joseph Warren Patterson to the Fort Worth area and had a grocery store on Samuels or Samuelson St. and lived above the store for many years. Who are Warren Moore Patterson Sr.'s parents? Where in Arkansas? ANY help would be appreciated....Thanks to whoever came up with the brick wall idea.....I have another brick wall on "the other side" and am going to try this idea there!! Maggie and JD
