    3. My brick wall relates to the family of JAMES HARRISON PATTERSON b. 1 Jan. 1837 in Al. His parents are thought to have been JOHN and MARY PATTERSON. John Patterson is thought to have been b. abt 1792 in S.C. His wife Mary is thought to have been b. abt. 1794 in S.C. I have no other info on them. Siblings of Harrison were named THOMAS, EMILY, MARY, ABIGAIL, and MARTHA PATTERSON. John Patterson possibly had siblings named JAMES, ROBERT, ALEXANDER, ASIA, ARCHIBALD, and BENJAMIN LEVI PATTERSON. I have heard reference to the seven brothers who all moved into the Tn. and Al. area. I have no definite proof that they are all connected other than that Benjamin Levi Patterson had James Harrison Patterson living in his wife Nancy's household on 1850 Census. It is thought that he was the nephew of B.L. Patterson. His parents may have died by 1850. James Harrison Patterson m. MARY ELIZABETH EVANS 14 Oct. 1865 in Limestone Co., Al. Eleven children were named BENJAMIN LEVI, SARAH ELIZABETH, WILLIE F., MARY DELLA, ELIZABETH EMMA, ABBIE LEE, ROBERT DEMPSEY, RAYMOND W., GEORGE W., VAN W., and TRUDIE EUDORA PATTERSON.
