Frank first appears on the 1880 US Census for Southport ED84, Chemung Co, New York as the 8 year old "adopted son" of Robert and Bridget (O'CONNEL) PATTERSON. Children of Robert and Bridget PATTERSON were: John b. 1845/46, William b. 1847/48, George b. 1852/53, Mortimer b. 1853/54, and Maggie b. 1857/58. My questions: Who were Frank's parents?
