Hello List, I've just received a birth cert for a distant rellie; his name is George SAUNDERS, and he was born in 1880 in Blantyre, Lanarkshire, Scotland. His parents were James SAUNDERS, ironmonger's assistant, and his wife Margaret, maiden name PATERSON. James and Margaret were married in 1878 in Kirknewton, Midlothian. By 1881, Margaret and little George were back at her parents' household in Uphall, West Lothian; I have no idea where James was, but he wasn't in Blantyre. Is anyone else interested in this family ?
