Still looking for information about Azuba Patterson, the dau of Nehemiah Patterson and Azuba (Esube or one of several other spellings....) Gillett (Jillet). Azuba was born ca 1770-1780, probably in western New York, married Jonas Schoonover and ended up in the early 1830's in Summit Co. Ohio, with her son, Jacob and his wife, Lucy (Chapman) Schoonover. I have recently been told she was related to Ben Patterson of Painted Post, NY, but I don't know Ben either. Any info on these people would be MUCH appreciated! Rachel
