James Homer PATTERSON was born February 26, 1815 in Madena County Ohio, and died January 18,1879 in Fulton Township Michigan. He married Johanna NICKERSON Children of James and Johanna are; 1. Susan PATTERSON, born 1847 Medena Ohio 2. Sarah PATTERSON, born 1848 Medena Ohio 3. Elizabeth PATTERSON, BORN 1850 Medena Ohio 4. Ryle PATTERSON, born 1854 Medena Ohio 5. Samuel Homer PATTERSON, born April 28, 1860 Medena Ohio, died September 24, 1932, Whitmore Michigan Children of Samuel Homer Patterson and Alice MORE are: 1. Clyde PATTERSON, born January 23 1884 2. Florence Alice PATTERSON, born September 11, 1886 died February 5, 1959 3. Royal Elizah PATTERSON born June 18, 1888 died November 22,1960 4. Homer PATTERSON born January 3, 1892 died October 5, 1964 5. Frances Mary PATTERSON born May 20, 1894 died April 18, 1988 in Grand Blanc MI 6. Twin of Frances, died at birth buried with her mother Alice Florence MORE Samuel PATTERSON homesteaded in the Mt Pleasant area of Michigan. His wife died giving birth to twins. One did not survive. Second twin Frances Mary Patterson did survive. She was sent to be raised by George Root and his wife, Florence More, the sister of Alice More. Mt Pleasant and Shepherd area of Michigan. Frances thought of George and Florence Root as parents. She was raised as a ROOT so I will list their children as well. George ROOT married Florence MORE their children are; 1. Harry ROOT 2.
