Hello everyone, I'm new to the list and am hoping you might be able to help me in researching my husband's line. Does anyone have anything on the lineage of Alexander Whitfield Patterson b 1824 d 1887 in Limestone Co., AL? He married Didiana Adeline Ridgeway in 1848. His mother was Temperance (last name was said to be Whitfield but not confirmed) b 1797 in SC. She settled in Limestone Co. AL with her children between 1820-1823. Her husband (Alexander 's father) may have been William Alexander Patterson, but have not confirmed this either. According to the dates of the children's births and the census records he supposedly died between 1842 & 1850. Any info on this family would be appreciated. Thanks ahead of time.
