Hi, Bill, and everyone else on the list: Bill's query about Charles Patterson from Stratford, CT, prompted me to ask again: does anyone know anything about the origins of the following Patterson: PATTERSON, Hezekiah, born ca. 1750-1760, died ca. 1830-1840 born in CT, settled in Delaware Co., NY, by 1795 with two sons (Thomas and Sheldon, both born CT) and two daughters (first names unknown). Hezekiah and family may have come from Fairfield Co., but that is not certain. I know about the Hezekiah mentioned in Jacobus' "Families of Old Fairfield" but have not been able to tie mine to that one. Also know about the "Hezekiah Batterson" of the colonial period.
