Formally a well known and popular citizen of Atlanta. Who died at his home in Tyler TX. Monday (Oct 3 1904 ) from the effects of injuries received Sunday morning while running as a conductor on the St. Louis and South Western (?) railroad. A telegram announcing his death was received by his brother W. H. Patterson. No details of the accident were given and nothing is known in Atlanta further then that Mr. Patterson was injured near Tyler. TX. and that he was crushed details relative to the funeral arrangements have not yet been learned. A dispatch containing that information is momentarily expected. In fact only a month earlier she received a letter from her parents which she kept until she passed away. At some point in time the two twins showed up in Atlanta asking her to take them in.
