The following is taken from the 1850 Lincoln County, Tennessee Census: George Kirkland 22 TN Susan 21 Jasper G. 1 James Patterson 27 TN Martha 25 John Wesley 4 Mary 2 Nancy J. 4 Nancy (Mother) 51 Thomas Harris 11 TN George Harris 10 Nancy A. 8 I know that George Kirkland married Susan Patterson 24 Feb 1848. What I don't know is who is James and Susan's father and who is Nancy's husband? Can anyone shed any light on these Pattersons? I am assuming that the Harris children are by a dead daughter since the girl is named Nancy A and the Mother is named Nancy. Would appreciate very much anything anyone could help me with this family.
