Patty, Do you know what happened to any of these children of Robert? Do you know when the John was born, and where? Did any of these leave PA. My John Patterson was born in 1766, probably in SC, but I know many of the Scotch-Irish Presbyterians came from PA through VA & NC into SC b/w 1760 & 1765. My John (b 1766) had sons named Joseph, John, George, Amos and Robert. I also know they were many Roberts, James, Johns and Samuels in the nwestern part of SC in the mid to late 1700s. Thanks.
