George PATTERSON (B 1800), his son William Harden PATTERSON (b 1832) were my 3rd and 2nd-g-gfs. They were quite responsible men in their own right, if I may say so. They lived in the north GA area, from which many other men did leave looking for gold. They stayed and reared responsible families.
