James Alexander Patterson, born abt 1816 in Greenville Tn, son of Andrew, grandson of James, and that is as far as I go with that line. Fathered Martha A Patterson probably in Ga. in 1841. Dumped her with his brother David Trotter Patterson back in Greeneville and took off for Oregon in search of GOLD!! I would put up a shrine also, if I could find her mother and where she was born. These 19th century Patterson men are such rascals!! --part0_909507049_boundary--
