A correspondent indicated to me that she has seen the original and that the outside of the will was signed by John Black and Daniel Ponder. Your Elizabeth was married to Daniel Ponder, but I had shown her married to a John Black. Could this be the same Elizabeth, or have I confused marriage records? My descent is from the same John and Margaret (Black) Patterson from whom Wes is descended. He is our 4th great-grandfather. However, we are descended from different sons of theirs. Judy
