My Paternal Grandmother's ( Mary Ann Patterson) Grandmother was MARY ADELAIDE (?) VAN OR VANN STRODE HOWELL. She is buried in Collin County, Texas. Mary's daughter's name was Theodosia Strode Russell. In one census Mary's mother was listed (Louisa Ice) with the Jahu Strode family. This is one of those searches !!
