I'm trying to locate anyone researching Andrew P. Patterson who lived in Kaw Township, Jackson County, Missouri in 1826. He was married to Rachel Unknown and they had 8 children: David, Thomas, Rebecca who married Samuel Sweet, Betsey, Robert, Risin, Andrew (my gg-grandfather) who married Elizabeth Hitchcock (daughter of Isaac Hitchcock), and Margaret who married Silas Hitchcock. Andrew P. Patterson was the first justice of peace for Kaw Township and presided over two presidential elections. He died about 1834, presumably in Kaw Township, Jackson County.
