Does anyone have info on my Pattersons, The 1rst one I know of is James Patterson. Born probably before 1750. He lived in Greenville Tenn. in 1783, died there in1804. His sons were;James, William, Andrew, and Nathaniel, Daughters were Janey and Nancy, I think. Andrew had at least 2 sons; James Alexander, and David Trotter Patterson. the latter married President Andrew Johnson's daughter Martha. I would like to know any info anyone can give me especially.Where they came from before Greenville and who James Alexander Patterson's 1rst wife was. Thanx, Carolyn Rupprath
