    3. I'm guessing you are hoping to find a source as extensive and organized as well as available online .... unfortunately there really isn't anywhere for one-stop shopping. Here's a couple starters though. For online sources, I did a Google search and found a bunch. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&safe=off&q=%22passenger+lists%22 Here's an few examples ... http://home.att.net/~arnielang/shipgide.html (good general guide on researching lists) http://members.aol.com/rprost/passenger.html Genealogy.com also has a whole subscription area devoted to Passenger Lists and Immigration ... http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/internationalsub.html?Welcome=995556942 plus a whole bunch of CDs you can buy. Also try your local libraries genealogy section. I always head straight for "Passenger and Immigration Lists Index; a Guide to Published Arrival Records of Passengers who came to the New World from the 16th to the early 20th Centuries" by William P. Filby. This is a great, on going, project to index passenger lists published in other sources. The National Archives has microfilm of the early passenger lists. Go to http://www.nara.gov/cgi-bin/starfinder/0?path=micfilm.txt&id=mfilm&pass=&OK= OK and search for "passenger lists." Some are indexed. Depending on the port of entry you are seeking, it could be an arduous task! Believe me, I spent a long time reviewing New York lists for only one year. You'll need to go to the Archives or one of the regional centers to view these. The full listing on any of the microfilms will tell you where it is available. The LDS Library also has a lot of records. this is the results of a search for North American immigration documents. http://www.familysearch.com/Eng/Library/fhlcatalog/supermainframeset.asp?dis play=topicdetails&subject=359347&subject_disp=North_America_-_Emigration_and _immigration&columns=*,180,0 You can order most of these to be sent to you local Family History Center and view them there. Good luck.
