    3. Hello Wes: I have a possible clue for you on your Franks. Have you checked Jackson, Dekalb, or Etowah County, Al? I have some connections to my Skelton side of my family that goes back into the Franks family. Also we camped near a family of Franks that were several generations of Franks. See if you can find them there. I do not have a census of Jackson county or I would look it up for you. Just thought I would tell you. Good Luck. I am absolutely no farther along with my Patterson clan from Lincoln or Franklin County, Tn than I was when I last talked with you. I get back to 1850 and no farther. My greatgreat grndfather was named James but what Jame's father's name was I have no idea. Only thing I have is his wife was named Nancy. Pretty slim clue to go on. Good Luck with the Franks.
