She was a homemaker. Born in Newark, she lived in Little Silver and then in Leisure Knoll, Manchester, before moving to Crestwood Manor 10 years ago. Her husband, Austin H. Patterson, died in 1995. Cremation will be private. Just updating my query... Have been looking for years for the father of: Jeremiah Monroe Patterson, son of unknown Patterson and Elizabeth Finley. Jerry was born in 1836 probably in what is now Jackson County, NC, died in 1902 in Macon County, NC. Confederate Veteran of the Thomas Legion, enlisted in Haywood County, NC. Jerry's father died either while Elizbeth was carrying Jerry, or shortly after Jerry was born. Elizabeth remarried to Henry Polk Gibson.
