JAMES PATTERSON was born about 1776 near Stanhope in Co. Durham. His father was also called James and I know of three brothers, Thomas, Stephen and George. JAMES married Mary DIXON 1804 and they had THOMAS PATTERSON 1805 ISABEL PATTERSON 1806 (m Thomas Parker) JAMES PATTERSON 1809 ANN PATTERSON 1811 BELL PATTERSON 1814 JOSEPH PATTERSON 1819 MARY PATTERSON 1823 Joseph married Hannah HILLS 1843 they lived near Lanchester, Co. Durham. Their children were MARK JAMES PATTERSON 1844 MARY PATTERSON 1846 JOSEPH PATTERSON 1848 HANNAH PATTERSON 1849 THOMAS PATTERSON 1852 Is anyone else researching this family?
