Hi Ed, I am seeking the parents of John H. Patterson (1816 in D.C-1904 M.D.) married Susanah Garey (1829-1904 M.D) 2-2-1848 in M.D. The 1880 Census lists John's father as born in Scotland and Mother in M.D. I believe his father may have been a sailor.
