Hi My name is Karl Patterson and I have been looking for my great grandfather Sidney Pitch Patterson born March 1854, he was married to a Malona Jeaneatte Root born July 1857. The 1880 census and the 1900 censu has them married 22 yrs and says nothing of another marriage, but there was. Malona married a Pratt and had 6 children, one Myron died of smallpox and was buried in Rootville Cemetery. My grandfather was the later to be born along with his sister Adda Jane who married an Elton Brown and they had 10 children, five boys all names beginning with an O and 5 sisters, only two sisters, Cecil Brown and Rena Brown of Erie, PA are still living but don't remember much. Any help on this would be very much appreciated, Thank you Karl

Please forgive me for posting this to the list, but it is the only way I know to make sure everyone I have exchanged information with in the past and hopefully in the future to know of my change in e-mail addresses. I have my internet service through my cable company, which got their service through Excite. Due to Excite's (@home.com) bankruptcy, our cable company had to set up their own internet service thus the new @cox.net . May all of our brick walls come down in 2002. Hello List, I've just received a marriage certificate for a Peter PATERSON, son of Robert PATERSON and Elizabeth PATERSON, formerly GLEN. Peter married Maggie ROBB, daughter of Andrew ROBB and Margaret ROBB, formerly HEAY, at Longridge, Whitburn, West Lothian, Scotland in 1877. The 1881 and 1891 censuses show that Peter and Maggie PATERSON had at least five children; Robert (about 1877), Margaret (about 1879), Elizabeth (about 1881), Frances (about 1884), and another Robert (about 1888). Maggie ROBB had a sister Fanny, who was married to a man named WADDELL. The marriage was also witnessed by an Isabella ROBB. Is anyone else interested in any of these families ? The certificate confirms that Peter PATERSON was the brother of my husband's g-grandfather James PATERSON (b 1858, Torphichen, West Lothian), so if anyone else is researching these lines, I'd be delighted to hear from you. Cheers, Rosalind Paterson. Anzy was born about December 1842 probably Benton County, Florida. She had a brother named Martin D. Patterson who was said to have been born in Micanopy, Florida about 1845 - 1847. Lawrence P. Anzy was living next door to Doctor Dunn and his first wife, Sarah, in the 1870 Alachua County, Florida census. I don't know what happened to his first wife but he and Anzy were living in Marion County, Florida in the 1880 census. Anzy had at least one child by Lawrence P. Hi Listers, I have just received yet another certificate that turns out not to be the one I was hoping for. This one is a death cert for a James PATERSON, husband of Janet NIMMO, and son of William PATERSON and his wife Janet, maiden surname CULVERT. James died in Bothwell, Lanarkshire, in 1885, aged 56. If this is of interest to anyone, please contact me for the remaining details. The James PATERSON I was actually looking for was the husband of Mary McNEILL, and I think he was the son of William PATERSON and Margaret BROWNLEE. He was aged 53 and living in Dalserf, Lanarkshire, in 1881, but had died by 1891, by which time his widow was living in Wishaw, Lanarkshire. His death doesn't appear to have been registered in Dalserf or Wishaw, so I don't know where he died. If anyone knows anything about this James PATERSON, I would very much like to hear from them.
