    1. [PATTERSON-L] Alexander Patterson, Northern Ireland Shipbuilder
    2. I am searching for an Alexander Patterson (1849-1907) who came from Northern Ireland with other brothers before 1880. One of his brothers was a high executive in a railroad in northeastern PA. His brothers were active in the Orangemen, but Alexander was not. He was shipbuilder in Ireland and when he died, was listed as a machinist. He got his wife from the "old country" of Scotland (Sarah McMasters) and they gave birth to William, Robert, Margaret, Matilda, Edward, and Walter. I have not been able to find any ship records, or any other info. on them. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks. David
