A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, 2002, at Scott Cemetery in Carbon Hill. Rev. William "Bob" Pate will officiate. Collins-Burke Funeral Home is directing. Visitation will be at 6 p.m. today, Nov. 13, 2002, at Collins-Burke Funeral Home parlor. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyt Alexander; father, John W. Pate; mother, Myrtle Pate; sister, Marjorie Handley; brother, Arlie Eugene Pate; and daughter, Susan Darlene McWalters. She is survived by her daughter, Amber Nicole Alexander of Carbon Hill; son, Greg Alexander and his wife, Jamie of Carbon Hill; sisters, Barbara Johnston and her husband, Trenton, and Sheryl Wakefield and her husband, John, all of Carbon Hill; brothers, John Marlin Pate and his wife, Ester of Cordova, Estal Pate and his wife, Mary Lou of Jasper, Aaron Pate and his wife, Betty, and Jerry Pate and his wife, Bernice, all of Carbon Hill, and Rev. William "Bob" Pate and his wife, Ann of Nauvoo; grandchildren, Josh Alexander, Jake Alexander, Aaron Alexander and Brandy Webb.
