GORDO J.D. Hall, age 81, of Gordo, died Nov. 4, 2012, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 1 p.m. today, Nov. 6, 2012, at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Kelly officiating. Burial will follow in Pate Cemetery in Buhl with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior and immediately following the service at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Lewis and Burley Hall; and his sisters, Ailene "Sackie" Finch and Kathleen Hopkins. Survivors include the love of his life, Mary Boothe; his daughter, Lana Jane Hall Knight; a special person who was just like a daughter, Lois Boothe; his grandchildren, Shane and Derrick Gough and Jesse Moore; and his great-grandchildren, Miley and Kelee Moore. Mr. Hall was born March 17, 1931, in Huntsville, Alabama to the late Henry Erby Hall and Lucy Carter Hall. He was a member of the Baptist faith and retired from construction.
