NAOMIA (PAT) PATE FOWLER Naomia (Pat) Pate Fowler, 81, of Leland, NC, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2012, at Brunswick Cove Nursing Center, Winnabow. She was born in Rockingham, NC, February 5, 1931, daughter of the late John Jacob Astor Pate and Annie Parker Pate. Her husband, Rev. Gordon Fowler, Jr. and eleven siblings preceded her in death. Mrs. Fowler was a loving and dedicated Christian mother and grandmother. She was a pastor's wife for over forty years. She was a member of Pine Valley Church of God and loved singing gospel music. She also enjoyed making dolls, crocheting, and other craft activities. Surviving are four children, Alinda Easom and husband Sammy of Goldsboro, NC; Terri Watson and husband Bob of Wilmington, Patricia Verricchia and deceased husband Ricky of Leland, and Michael Fowler of Leland; ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Pine Valley Church of God, 3810 Shipyard Blvd., Wilmington, NC, 28403. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
