Edith Pate Luke FITZGERALD, GA- Edith Pate Luke, 80, of Wilcox County died Saturday, November 3, 2012, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be at 4:30 P.M. Sunday, November 4, at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery in Ben Hill County with the Rev. Fred Eister officiating. Mrs. Luke was born September 17, 1932 in Ben Hill County to the late Henry and Vita Pearl Miller Pate. A 1949 graduate of Fitzgerald High School, she was a homemaker and farm manager. She was a former Justice of the Peace of the Sibbie Voting Precinct and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Survivors: Celia Luke Ash, Andrew Henry & Susan Luke, Donnie R. & Jenny Luke and Edith Elizabeth "Beth" Luke, all of Ben Hill County and Tommie Luke Clark of Wilcox County; grandchildren: Audrey Luke-Morgan & Craig Morgan, Travis Luke, Luke Anthony Frazier, Caleb Ash, Sam Ash, Amanda Luke & Chris Griffin and Becky Luke & Eric Griffin; 8 great grandchildren.
