LAKELAND - Willis Lamar Pate, age 82, of Lakeland, FL passed away on 10/27/2012 from Heart Failure in Lakeland Willis was born on 6/18/1930 in Colquitt, GA. Willis was a lifelong resident and retired after 50 Years at the City of Lakeland Parks & Recreation Dept. Willis attended Parkview Baptist Church. Willis is preceded in death by his wife, Adela Pate & son, Tony Pate. Willis is survived by his children, Rita Lockridge, Jackie Martin, James Martin, and Wally Martin; sisters, Betty Bush & Corrine Brown; 11 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren. Services will be on 10/30/2012 9:00 AM Visitation 10:30. Service at Parkview Baptist Church with graveside to follow service at Oak Hill Burial Park.
