Ima Orvig Hare went peacefully to be with the Lord Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012. Service: 10 a.m. Tuesday, Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel with visitation one hour prior. Interment: D-FW National Cemetery. Memorials: American Macular Degeneration Foundation, http://www.macular.org/. Ima was born Feb. 14, 1929, and was loved by all who knew her. She was baptized Dec. 6, 1959. She enjoyed fishing, playing board games with friends and family and bingo. She was fun to be with and all will miss her dearly. Ima was preceded in death by her husband, retired 1st Sgt. Raymond Hare. Survivors: Children, Ron Sommerfeld and wife, Suzanne, Deloris Pate and husband, retired Command Sgt. Maj. Raymond; grandchildren, Danny Pate and wife, Monica, Janet Horn, Angela Blankenship and husband, Boe, Lori Glassey and husband, Andre; five great-grandchildren; twin sister, Uma Lee; brother, Norman Orvig and wife, Connie; sister-in-law, Betty Jean Orvig; numerous other family members and friends.
