Fannie Lee Taylor Cade, age 91, of Biloxi, MS, formerly of Columbus, died Sunday, October 21, 2012, at Biloxi Regional Medical Center. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be Wednesday, October 24, 2012, at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. David Strain officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Interment will immediately follow in Friendship Cemetery. The daughter of the late Hosea Miles and Essie Mae Pate Taylor, she was born February 2, 1921, in Vernon, AL. She was a retired cosmetologist, employed by The Curly Top beauty shop, and she was a former member of Main Street Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Noel Edwards, her son, Jimmy Earl Edwards, two sisters and two brothers. She is survived by her daughters, Delores Robbins of Biloxi, MS, Sylvia Speed and Linda E. Rust, both of Gulfport, MS and Carolyn Gaudreau (Tom) of Travelers Rest, SC and her son, Murray Glenn Edwards of Hurst, TX. She is also survived by her sisters, Mary Lois Golden, Lorene Reid, Jewell Cassell and Sena Buxton and her brother, Gene Taylor, ten grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Michael Robbins, Martin Robbins, Curtis Speed, Gary Thomas, Brian Gaudreau and Tom Gaudreau. Memorials may be made to Palmer Home for Children, P.O. Box 746, Columbus, MS 39703.
